Blend Design System
As Blend’s first official design system, our goal was to build more than just a static style guide—we set out to create a living, evolving product that could grow alongside our brand, technology, and user needs.
Key goals:
Ensure visual and functional consistency across products
Improve efficiency and design/development speed
Protect brand integrity while supporting a seamless user experience
Enable scalability as teams and platforms expand
My approach:
Users expect consistent interactions and visuals. By standardizing core components—such as buttons, forms, and layouts—I worked to eliminate inconsistencies across pages and products.
A fragmented visual identity can dilute brand impact. I centralized brand elements within the system and extended those standards beyond digital, applying them to non-digital touch points.
As our product ecosystem grew, so did its complexity. I focused on building a scalable, flexible system that would allow teams to efficiently ship high-quality digital experiences without compromising cohesion or clarity.

Blend Brand Guide
After launching the new site and locking down our web design system, I took the lead on crafting Blend’s fresh brand guide—a playbook for using our updated brand elements, patterns, and typography with style and consistency. The 2025 Brand Design team is small but mighty—just three designers who regularly team up with external agencies who help support us with various marketing initiatives — from ABM campaigns to running email campaigns on Hubspot. This guide is designed to be our go-to manual, making sure our visual identity shines through clearly and confidently in every brand touchpoint.
